Bicycle.

Since getting my fold up bike last year, I have been zipping around all over the place. My temptation is always to load it up as much as possible with all my stuff I want to take out and about with me, which often makes it a bit difficult to ride.

So, I have been keeping my eye out for a pannier to mount on the back to make it easier to ride with a load - especially if I want to ride to class at RMIT in Brunswick. I've been looking for a while, and everything up until now has been boring old black. But, yesterday at the Sustainability Festival we found the most amazing travel bag ever - and the best thing is it is handmade locally from new but otherwise unwanted, rare and out of print, canvas fabric (which is more than 30 years old!) so it is a limited edition Vintage pannier!

Tonight Ben helped me put it on my bike - wowee! I am seriously excited, can't wait to load it up and be on my way...

  1. Looks awesome..I thought of you the other day, our neigbours who have the big travel RV got the same bikes, and the guy - 60 odd years- was riding up and down the road like a little kid who just got his first bike. When I went out to say hi and let him know that I knew someone with one, he got all embarrased and rode home. I think they are brilliant!!
